Alan “Al” Carnrite is the Chief Executive Officer of the Carnrite Group, which he founded in 1991, as well as Partner at Carnrite Ventures. Al has over 40 years of experience and is an advisor to executive leadership throughout all segments of the energy industry, private equity, and the industrial sector. His specialties include corporate strategy, turnarounds and restructuring, business transformation, and operational improvement. Al has led and provided executive oversight to projects on six continents, with clients including integrated energy companies, independent exploration and production companies, energy service companies, manufacturers, global consumer products companies, and several of the world’s largest private equity groups.

Prior to founding The Carnrite Group, Al held senior leadership positions in consulting, industry, and finance, including Senior Managing Director at Randall & Dewey, later acquired by multinational investment bank Jefferies; Chief Executive Officer of Trinity River Energy, an independent E&P company with assets in several US onshore basins; CEO of Epic Integrated Services, an electrical and automation company; and CEO of Sterling Consulting Group. Al began his career at PetroCanada, where he led the upstream component of its privatization. Al sits on the Board of Directors of Corsicana Mattress Company and advisory boards for several Carnrite Ventures portfolio companies.
